Silver plate silverware, is it worth saving for the silver?
I have a bag full of silver plate silverware from the 1940's to the 80's, approx. 100 total. Should I save these for the silver of just through them out. They are all different designs and not worth saving for that reason. I just want to do something with them. Most of them say silver plate on the handles. Thanks for any help.
plated isnt silver ware its fake so take it to a jeweler and ask them if its solid then try to sell it on E-Bay as silver for crafts by weight its around Five bucks an oz but ccheck the trading price on the bottom of the stock report in your paper news dat is or sell at a craft show to a amatuer jeweler they make rings and things
